Since 1997, Crain’s Detroit Business has periodically created lists of the 100 most influential women in Southeast Michigan. In 2016, the list expands to the entire state of Michigan.
Women of influence may hold positions of power in their companies and nonprofit organizations. They may wield influence in public policy and politics. They have an impact in their industries and in their communities. Collectively, they are a resource for the entire state.
With a number of partners and advised by leaders in the corporate sector who support increasing diversity on the boards of Michigan’s leading companies, Crain’s has launched The Michigan Women’s Directory, an invitation-only database of talented women who are candidates for corporate board seats.
